If we really wanted to peg them, they are the New American Green Party. This is not the Democrat party of Kennedy or even FDR. Somewhere in the last fifteen years the philosophy of European Green party narratives filtered in via academia, largely in California, New York and Massachussetts. They used that to recruit and indoctrinate voters who are now in their forties and who still believe the magic of socialism. Being the money bags of the DNC back in the Clinton years, California and New York foisted a far more liberal agenda that traditional Democrats would imagine. There are still those who are historic Democrat voters who vote Democrat because their Daddy did. But this party is not the same party that existed back in the day. Go to the Green Party website, read their platform and recognize that what the DNC is presenting is not much different. Then realize that the Green party is part of the World Workers’ Party. And remember that with Obama every single issue comes back to supporting UNIONS>
